Configure Read Only Access for an User

• Navigate to Setup and Maintenance > Tasks > Search for the task called “Manage Administrator Profile Values”
• Now in the Profile Options section, pass the Profile Option Code as “FND_READ_ONLY_MODE” and click on the search button.
• In the Profile Values section, add the User to give read-only access.

1. Profile Level - User
2. User Name - Pass the User name here
3. Profile Value - Enabled.
4.  Save and Close

All set now,  sign in with the User credential and you will see a message saying 

              “You have read-only access to all applications. You cannot perform updates.”
